On March 3rd all the hedges were trimmed and the fruit trees pruned ready for the summer season. We are hoping for another bumper crop and some tasty fruits by July, with further cherry trees planted recently. Why not come and share them with us this summer?
Buzzards, Kestrels and Sparrowhawks have all been displaying over their territories recently and all nested close to the barn in 2010. A barn owl delighted our visitors over the February half term by hunting right outside the kitchen window during their stay.
The snowdrops are now at their best.
