We’ve really enjoyed our stay here. The barn is comfortable and packed with character. The walks around the farm are fascinating and varied. The long field across the lane has spectacular views and the area around the pond behind the barn is packed with wildlife. We were particularly impressed by the diversity of trees and the thoughtful planting that will make the field even more beautiful.

Our second Christmas stay at Hilltop Barn. Kitchen facilities are excellent and Peter is happy to provide any extras required. Visited Five Bells at Bassingham for a drink and must remember to go back for a meal on our next visit. Feels like a home from home rather than a holiday let.

We had a very relaxing long weekend, including our dog. We found the cottage to be immaculately clean, comfortable and cosy. We had a lovely dinner at the Kings Head in Navenby and good walks at Hartsholme Country Park and the Fossdyke Canal, starting at the Pyewipe Inn. We hope to come back again. After a long journey from Australia it was just lovely to settle in at the barn. For two weeks. Host made us very welcome. Slept like logs every night. Lovely fresh air. Very clean and comfortable. We will return.

Visited The Bell at Coleby - a fantastic restaurant that cannot be praised highly enough, for everything from the service and staff to the incredible Michelin star worthy dishes was laudable. The Small Family
A lovely secluded location with easy access to Sleaford, Newark and Lincoln. Really enjoyed watching all the bunnies and the pheasants too!! Great walks for the dog too.
